One of the nice things about working as a reviewer is that
people send you stuff all the time; it's like having Christmas year-round. But
the approach of the holiday season means that fall and winter months bring a
veritable flood of nifty things, affectionately referred to in reviewing circles
as "loot". For SageWoman, I get mostly books - but ah, the
occasional products are usually spectacular. You'll have fun pampering yourself
with these!
First, there is the soap itself ($4.75 per bar). I received six bars:
Lavender Meadows, Yemaya's Sea Garden (ocean scented with real nori seaweed),
Coolmint, Mouthwatering Melon (smells like melon and sherbet), Lemon Poppyseed,
and Sun Splash (citrus blend). Editor Anne Newkirk Niven was sufficiently
impressed with the Vanilla Indulgence and Bahama Mama soaps to keep both of them
for herself - and, based on what I got, I can see why!
Handmade soaps last longer than the supermarket soaps and produce a decadent
lather. They're pretty too; Sun Splash is a vivid peach and Mouthwatering Melon
is ivory with blue and cream chunks. Ingredients include cold pressed oils, pure
essential oils, herbs, natural pigments, clays, and seeds; these soaps use no
detergents, animal fat, artificial preservatives, hydrogenated oils, or
petroleum products and are 100% cruelty free.
Besides the luscious soap, I also got a few other goodies in this
package. The Lover's Bath fizzing bath bombs ($3) contains essential oils of
ylang ylang, clary sage, bergamot, and sandalwood. The Mint Tingle hand/body
lotion ($13.25 for 6oz bottle) has a wonderful texture and a light frisky scent
that leaves your skin silky-soft. The website contains a variety of other soaps

Re: Mountain Man Soap
The scent and soap itself has been VERY popular at my
place of work.... and everywhere I have been
since Saturday.
Luckily I have one of the bars for me to continue to
use. Several of the women I work with asked about the
soap for the men in their lives (husband, boyfriends,
etc). Actually ended up giving the other bars away to
them, so they could take it home and let them try it -
THEY LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

scent is great. I think Montana Man compliments "Obsession",
which I
have been using now for awhile. Maybe I won't have to use
"Obsession"
anymore. It does have a very nice smell and when I go into the
